I've always liked writing, hence why my activities feature editing and academic writing. I believe scientific development must be communicated, and real efforts through raising awareness and facilitating accessible explanations are great, fundamental contributions to it.
One out of thirty selectees for its inaugural cohort, I engaged in 8+ intercultural sessions, discussing self-discovery and inclusion. The program was structured in three modules: Personal Growth, Academic Growth, and Professional Growth. In its second module, I got to write an essay on any topic of my preference, and I wrote it on the application of Cognitive Load Theory in STEM coursework design.
After I participated in the Article Competition Winter 2025-26, I was offered the position of Computer & Engineering Ambassador in the magazine. I reviewed and edited submissions covering several STEM topics. One of the most interesting articles I read was on GIS Arta, the "Uber of Artillery".
I write beginner-friendly Computer Science articles at Cherielle since May 2025, aimed at fostering interest from high school girls. Some of the work I've written features edge computing, bias in AI and explaining what an IDE is. I'm extremely grateful for the welcoming community I got the chance to be a part of.
